The Territory

The wines of the Mitreo line are born in the Castelli Romani area, a historic territory at the gates of Rome characterized by volcanic hills and a long winemaking tradition.

In this landscape, marked by the presence of hills and the influence of the Mediterranean climate, vine cultivation is an integral part of local culture. Frascati and the denominations of the territory have represented for centuries one of the most recognizable wine references of Lazio.

The viticulture of Castelli Romani unites history, community and landscape, keeping alive an agricultural and cultural heritage passed down through time.

The Mitreo Line

Mitreo is a line that draws inspiration from the history and culture of Castelli Romani. The name recalls the ancient places of worship dedicated to the god Mithras, symbol of connection between man, nature and the cyclical nature of time.

The visual identity originates from the fresco of the Mithraeum of Marino: from the starry cloak a star was extracted, becoming the central sign of the brand. The symbol translates into a mosaic of colors that represents the richness and complexity of the territory.

The line thus interprets wine as a cultural as well as agricultural expression, uniting tradition, memory and contemporaneity.
