The Song of the Land, the Flavour of Roots

Radicanto was created to tell the most authentic identity of Apulia. The name brings together two symbolic elements: roots, deep and ancient, and song, an expression of local culture and conviviality.

The project interprets wine as a narrative of the territory: not only an agricultural product, but a testimony to the relationship between people, nature and tradition.

Each bottle thus becomes a story of belonging, where landscape, work and collective memory take concrete form in the glass.

The Project

T h e S t o r y o f a L a n d

Radicanto represents a wine supply chain built around the value of territorial identity. It is not just a line of wines, but a project that enhances Apulian agricultural culture and the role of the rural community.

Roots evoke the native grape varieties and the agricultural history of the region; song, on the other hand, recalls the social dimension of wine production, made of encounters, sharing and traditions handed down over time.

The project translates these elements into wine production: respect for natural cycles, production continuity and the enhancement of local varieties.

Wine thus becomes a bridge between past and present, capable of preserving the memory of the territory and bringing it into the present through every harvest.

Location

S a l e n t o

The Radicanto line was born in the Salento area, across the provinces of Brindisi, Lecce and Taranto, where viticulture has accompanied the life of local communities for generations.

The Mediterranean climate, characterised by warm and breezy summers, and the calcareous soils rich in minerals favour full ripening and wines with a strong personality. The wind from the sea contributes to the balance of the grapes, while the intense light defines aromas and structure.

Here operates Cantine Due Palme, a cooperative founded in 1989 in Cellino San Marco, which brings together over 1,000 winegrower members and preserves the traditional Alberello Pugliese vine training method.

The collaboration with Genevitis ensures production continuity and consistent quality, while preserving territorial identity and the recognisability of the wines.

Philosophy

R o o t s a n d S h a r i n g

Radicanto is based on one principle: wine is born from the balance between nature and community.

The supply chain enhances agricultural work, promotes environmentally respectful practices and protects the cultural heritage of the territory. The aim is not only to produce wine, but to pass on a tradition made of knowledge, relationships and local identity.

Each label maintains stylistic consistency and respect for the original characteristics of the grapes, expressing the landscape from which it comes.

The project thus interprets wine as a shared heritage, capable of bringing together culture, territory and future.

Branding

V i s u a l I d e n t i t y o f R a d i c a n t o

The concept of the line was born from the idea of representing Apulia through simple and immediate symbols. Roots evoke the depth of the land and the connection with native grape varieties, while song represents the cultural and convivial dimension of Apulian tradition.

The graphic identity translates these elements into an essential visual language: warm colours, references to Mediterranean light and signs that evoke the nature of the territory.

The label is not only an aesthetic element, but a narrative tool: it tells the story of the relationship between land, community and wine production, making the line and its origin recognisable.

The packaging thus becomes an integral part of the wine’s story.
