The Project
T h e M e a n i n g o f C h i o r e
The name “Chiore”, from the ancient Abruzzo dialect, means “clear” and “luminous”, evoking a path guided by light.
The project is inspired by the tratturi, ancient routes shaped by time and nature, travelled with eyes turned towards the sky, where earth and light seem to speak the same language.
Chiore thus becomes a symbol of a deep connection with the Abruzzo landscape, a path that ideally brings mountains and sea together.

Abruzzo is a region where the distances between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea are short, creating distinctive environmental conditions.
The hills of the Chieti area are influenced at the same time by the cool currents from the Maiella massif and by sea breezes, creating temperature variations and constant ventilation.
This natural balance encourages regular grape ripening and preserves freshness and aromatic definition, distinctive elements of the wines from this area.

The graphic project of the Chiore line was created with the aim of visually translating the Abruzzo landscape, where sea and mountains coexist in balance.
The circular element on the label recalls the sun, a natural guide along the tratturi and a symbol of light and cyclicality.
Different materials and surfaces represent the two souls of the territory, while the name Chiore becomes the meeting point between landscape, memory and identity.
