The Territory
The wines of the Mitreo line are born in the Castelli Romani area, a historic territory on the outskirts of Rome characterized by volcanic hills and a long winemaking tradition.
In this landscape, marked by the presence of hills and the influence of the Mediterranean climate, vine cultivation is an integral part of the local culture. Frascati and the local appellations have represented one of the most recognizable oenological references of Lazio for centuries.
Viticulture in the Castelli Romani combines history, community, and landscape, keeping alive an agricultural and cultural heritage passed down through time.
The Mitreo Line
Mitreo is a line that draws inspiration from the history and culture of the Castelli Romani. The name recalls the ancient places of worship dedicated to the god Mithras, a symbol of connection between man, nature, and the cyclical nature of time.
The visual identity stems from the fresco of the Mitreo di Marino: a star was extracted from the starry cloak, becoming the central mark of the brand. The symbol translates into a mosaic of colors representing the richness and complexity of the territory.
The line thus interprets wine as a cultural as well as an agricultural expression, uniting tradition, memory, and modernity.
